Harald Harb
If I could ask every camper to do one thing before camp, it would be this: join the Academy and start preparing now.
You've made a commitment to your skiing by booking a Harb Ski camp. I want to help you get everything possible from that week.
After years of coaching camps, I know how much difference preparation makes. When you arrive with better balance, a stronger Ski-Fit Body, and some familiarity with the movements we teach, we can get to work faster. You can take in more of the coaching, practise it on snow, and leave with something you can continue building.
Give me two months if you can. If you have less time, start today.
In the video, I explain that if every camper spent even two months in the Academy before camp, it would change the quality of their experience — how quickly you learn, how readily you pick up movements, and how well you retain them.
If your camp is months away, you have time to build a strong foundation. If it's only a few weeks away, don't write that time off. Begin the Ski Fit Challenge now and bring whatever preparation you can to your first day on snow.
Camp is an extraordinary week. The Academy helps you make more of that week — and gives you a way to keep progressing during the other 51 weeks of the year.
Arrive ready
Arrive with a Ski-Fit Body
At camp, we teach you to make more efficient movements on skis. Your body needs to be ready to make them.
That's why I created the 12-Week Ski Fit Challenge inside the Academy. It helps you develop the balance, mobility, strength, and control that support the skiing you want to do. You'll practise movements off snow, where you can slow them down, understand them, and build the physical ability to repeat them.
You can start at home with body-weight exercises. You can start at your own level. And you can start the challenge at any time — there's no need to wait for the next group to begin.
Our coaches do this work too. Maintaining a Ski-Fit Body is part of what allows us to demonstrate the movements we teach. I want our campers to experience what that preparation can do for their skiing.

The framework
More than a fitness program: three pillars for better skiing
Together, these three pillars help you prepare, make the most of your coaching, and carry your progress forward.
Off-Snow Training
Build the balance, strength, and movement awareness to arrive at camp ready to learn. Start the 12-Week Ski Fit Challenge whenever you join—even a few weeks of preparation can help you make more of your time on snow.
01Skier Alignment
The right equipment setup helps you ski in balance. Learn what to look for before camp, get hands-on alignment work at the Harb Ski Systems shop, and use the Academy to ask questions and review your setup as your skiing develops.
02On-Snow Training
Follow focused PMTS exercises before and after camp, then post video of your skiing for feedback from Harald, our coaches, and other Academy members. Keep working on what you learned at camp throughout the season.
03Between camps
Bring your questions to me between camps
You don't have to save every question for your camp week.
Two live sessions every week
Join me live inside the Academy. We look closely at skiing, discuss training, and answer members' questions. You learn from your own questions and from the skiing and experiences of others.
Coaches & a community that cares
You'll find our camp and Academy coaches and a community of skiers who care about getting better. Post your training. Share your skiing video. Ask about the movement you're working on.
Your coaches, between trips
Think of it as bringing your coaches into your living room between trips to the mountain — so your questions don't have to wait for camp week.
Beyond camp
Camp is one week. Your improvement can continue all year.
The end of camp should be the beginning of your next stage of improvement.
Bring your camp feedback back into the Academy. Keep working on the movement your coach identified. Post another video when you get on snow. Ask the question that comes up when you try it on your own.
And if you haven't booked a camp yet, you can begin that journey today. The Academy helps you prepare for a future camp while making more of every ski day you have between now and then.

In their words
Hear from campers who train in the Academy
Arrive ready to learn—from Monday’s first run to Friday’s last.
“In the fall, I joined the Academy to take advantage of the 12-Week Ski Fit Challenge before the Harb Blue/Dark Blue camp at Arapahoe Basin. I began with the Restore & Activate movements, concentrating on doing the exercises properly before ramping up.
When I arrived in Colorado, my conditioning was more than adequate to work through full mornings of PMTS coaching without running out of steam. I felt fully ready to learn from the first run on Monday through the final run on Friday.
I had energy for additional practice in the afternoons and never experienced the heavy morning soreness or joint stiffness from consecutive ski days—I skied 9 out of 10 days during my trip. Dryland work is essential to set the stage to receive the on-snow coaching at camp.”

Prepared with the 12-Week Ski Fit Challenge
My first day on skis felt like I did at the end of my previous season.
“I have had the pleasure of taking some weeklong Harb ski camps in the past and also some weeklong trips during the season. Consistently I noticed that around day three I would get quite tired and sore, and it became hard to focus or practice new movements.
This past year I did the Ski Fit Challenge on the Harb Ski Academy and WOW! My first day on skis felt like I did at the end of my previous season. I had so much more energy and strength that I was able to think and focus on my attempts to make correct movements. I was having fun right away!
I also felt I was at lower risk of injury as I was not skiing tired. 100% recommend the program—it is a game changer for anyone serious about skiing.”

Ongoing learning, regular video feedback, and a sense of community.
“I’m a member of the Harb Ski Academy, and I’m also a camper.
There are three main reasons why the Academy has really helped me. One is ongoing learning and reminders of technique. The second is regular feedback on videos that I send in. The third is a sense of community through seeing everybody’s feedback and liking each other’s videos and comments.
I’m really happy to be part of this group.”
